Objectives: 1/ Design and produce engineered S. boulardii strains for in situ delivery of CC therapeutic agents in the GI tract. • 2/ Enhance the efficiency of engineered S. boulardii strains as producers of CC therapeutics. • 3/ Rationally design synthetic microbial consortia to ensure improved function of S. boulardii engineered strains in the GI tract.
