Objectives: 1/ Manage internal communication flow among partners. • 2/ Ensure successful dissemination, exploitation, and communication of MiCCrobioTAckle results and scientific advances (after IPR protection assessment), among the scientific and industrial communities. • 3/ Increase the general public awareness for the benefits and need for science-led innovation in the EU.

Objectives: 1/ Provide to all 12 DCs, supporting and complementary activities in their IRPs. • 2/ Provide network-wide, local and external training to the DCs, inc. secondments in academia and industry sectors, workshops, training schools, and dissemination and outreach activities. • 3/ Train DCs’ transferable skills (entrepreneurship, business, management, organization, leadership, IPR, communication, etc.). • 4/ Support DCs elaborating their Career Development Plans (CDPs).

Objectives: 1/ Develop and implement in vitro models to evaluate the effect of gut microbiota on gut barrier physiology and the immune system. • 2/ Investigate how specific microbial interventions (ghrelinergic microbial strains w/wo phenolic compounds; microbial species, metabolites, and consortia resulting from WP1-2) contribute to control CC in vivo. • 3/ Decipher how circadian clocks are affected upstream by gut microbiota and alter downstream fat expenditure, muscle wasting, lipid homeostasis, ...

Objectives: 1/ Develop rationally designed ‘FMT-in-a-pill’ oral formulations with enhanced effect on CC prevention/treatment. • 2/ Evaluate the effect of ‘oral’ vs. the traditional ‘gastroduodenal tube’ administration of FMTs in the context of CC. • 3/ Make significant progresses on the development of oral ‘consortium-in-a-pill’ formulations for CC treatment.

Objectives: 1/ Identify cachexia-associated gut microbiome signatures common to and/or specific to different cancer types. • 2/ Explore the role of the gut microbiome as a mediator in cachexia progression in CRC patients. • 3/ Describe the gut microbiome dynamics and muscle and VAT wasting in LC patients. • 4/ Find associations between gut microbiome and specific body and tissue features (e.g., immune, hormonal) in CC of 4 different cancer types. • 5/ Identify potentially beneficial bacterial ...
