I am a dedicated researcher from Pakistan. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2020, gaining hands-on clinical experience in dietary management of various diseases from three well-renowned hospitals in Pakistan. In 2024, I completed my Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Calabria, Italy, where I conducted research on the anti-proliferative effects of Bergapten in colon cancer cell lines. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD as a **Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions **Docotoral Researcher under the prestigious "MICCROBIOTACKLE" project in Hungary. This interdisciplinary PhD project is a collaboration between:
- Biological Research Centre (BRC) in Szeged
- HCEMM/Hungarian Centre of Excellence for Molecular Medicine
- Semmelweis University,Budapest
- Torokbalint Hospital, Budapest My research focuses on investigating the role of the gut microbiome in tumorigenesis, with a particular emphasis on cancer cachexia. Using a combination of cell culture models, molecular biology techniques, and literature-based analysis, I aim to explore the mechanistic links between gut microbial composition and cancer progression.
